A brace from Bonsegundo (39 and 45+2) gave Sporting a 3-0 lead at half time in stifling conditions. Sporting will face SKN St. Pölten of Austria next after they defeated BSC Young Boys of Switzerland 4-3. They went 3-0 up in the first 38 minutes through goals from Vago, Latino and Aagaard.
