The lions travel away to Santa Maria da Feira for matchday 5 to face the side who sit second bottom going into the weekend on 1 point and are the only side in Liga 2 not to have scored a goal after four rounds. Rafael Nel is suspended after his dismissal in the win against Farense at home in which he scored the winning goal from the penalty spot deep into injury time. He will however have served his suspension by the time the senior team kick off against CD Nacional at home later that evening. They have won 3 of their opening 4 games and sit 3rd in the table going into the weekend. Goals at a premium though averaging just one a game. They have scored in every game other than the 2-0 loss away to Penafiel. Nel, Couto, Justo and Atanasio have all got just the single goal apiece. Despite Feirense not scoring, all things considered their defence hasn't overly let them down. Their biggest defeat 2-0 away to recently relegated AVS. Matchday 3 they lost 1-0 at home to FC Porto B, Matchday 2 again was just 1-0 to Académica de Coimbra. They'll have been disappointed in that game especially given the hosts played for 50 minutes with ten men. Their only point came in a 0-0 on Matchday one at home to Felgueiras 1932. So whilst you can be hopeful of 3 points, don't expect a thriller in terms of goals scored.
